History.

The roots of our publishing house date back to 1991, when it was founded
Plastic Fanatic as a magazine for modelers created by modelers. The lack of magazines for plastic modelers on the Polish market, which we strongly felt, resulted in the idea of creating such a magazine. The Provincial Cultural Center in Tarnobrzeg took us under its wing and provided money to publish the first issue in a staggering circulation of 300 copies.

The first editorial team is:

The first four issues of FP were printed on a photocopier and their circulation did not exceed 300-400 copies. These numbers are currently practically unavailable, and their owners can consider themselves lucky.

Issue 5 of FP was already published by a new publisher, Marek Bronkowski, a member of the editorial staff, and it was an issue printed in a printing house, similar in appearance to a real newspaper.

With this composition, we published another 11 issues, constantly improving the quality of printing and, we hope, the substantive content.

In 1997, after a two-year break in publishing FP, we returned to the first publisher WDK in Tarnobrzeg.

ARTUR JUSZCZAK became the editor-in-chief, while the editorial staff remained unchanged.

The last issue is FP 20, which was published in 1998. The fanatic ended his activities together with the Tarnobrzeg Voivodeship.

We also cooperated with the AJ-Press publishing house, publishing a series of MODELMANIA books together.

After the publication of the last one (the sixth in the series), we parted ways with the AJ-Press publishing house and started publishing on our own.
Many years of previous cooperation with the publisher of the independent English magazine for plastic modelers "Mushroom Model Magazine" resulted in a joint series of books


Mushroom Model Publications.


The first book in this series was published in 1999. We then used the ISBN and the courtesy of the Diocesan Publishing House in Sandomierz.

We have been operating as Stratus Publishing House since 2001.
